Doctors & Therapists at Mind Therapy Clinic

Mark Schiller, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Schiller is the founder and Medical Director of Mind Therapy Clinic. Prior to this he was Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSF, was engaged in private practice, and was involved in research. While in private practice he became frustrated with the difficulty in collaborating with other professionals to provide high quality, cohesive care, and developed a vision for a center that could provide such cohesive care, integrating innovative and alternative approaches.

Dr. Schiller is a Yale and University of Chicago trained psychiatrist who has been a leader in the development of technologies that provide an objective and effective basis for guiding psychiatric medication treatment. He has continued his research involvement in his continuing role as Director of Medical Affairs of CNS Response, the developer of referenced-EEG. In addition to his work on electrophysiological technology, he also focuses on the medication treatment of a broad range of difficult to treat psychiatric disorders, including treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, adult attention deficit disorder, and addiction. The latter is a focus of his work as a consultant at the Bayside Marin Center drug and alcohol program.
